Today, most students are not
getting all they can from their education. Whatever their grades or test scores, too
many students lose their love of learning as they move through school. For too many
of them, the pencil moves but not the mind; they learn shallowly, rather than with
mastery, and they see no connection between themselves and all they're being taught.
Too many of them hate school, and by assocation, learning itself. We have ways to change this. We are here to offer these ideas and strategies you - without charge, and without ads. For there's an amazing thing about education: changes instituted on a small scale have a much bigger effect than changes made on a big scale. In other words, an individual parent or teacher can do more to affect the educational life of a child than a whole school system can. And you can begin today, without waiting for a single board meeting. And we need to make these changes. For aside from love, the greatest thing we can offer our children is education - real, strong, deep, honest - and exciting. Education is the pathway to who they are, and who they can be.
