The beginning.

It may seem like the learning is trivial in the early grades, but our youngest students are learning more than numbers and number facts.  They are beginning to learn the ways of mathematics.  To build their own style within it, and a way to struggle through when it gets tough.

We can help them in so many ways.

We can give them strong attitudes about math, and good feelings about it, and their place in it.  We can build their strengths, and build their confidence.  We can help them see, from their earliest days in mathematics, that they belong, whatever their natural gifts, and whatever ours.

And we can show them that math is much more than arithmetic - much more than number facts and rules to memorize.  Giving them this bigger view, will help them feel bigger, and like it more.

Just as we take them to baseball games, and to concerts, we can show them all that awaits, and offer them excitement, confidence, and tools for learning. We will offer you many ways to help them build a strong foundation, and teach them good learning skills, and add a bit of spice and interest..
